Easy Chia Pudding
Combine the ingredients, stir and let sit. That's all there is to it. Then tailor to your tastes.
- 3 Tbsp chia seeds
- ¾ cup milk or plant-based milk
- 1 to 2 teaspoons honey maple syrup, stevia or sugar
- Pinch of salt
Combine chia seeds, milk, sweetener, and salt in a jar or container. Stir well, then wait 5 minutes before stirring again to prevent clumping. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight, until the mixture has thickened.
Variations
- Hot chocolate: add 1 tablespoon cocoa powder and extra sweetener to taste
- Tropical: add ¼ cup finely chopped pineapple or mango, 1 Tbsp shredded coconut
- Mocha: add 1 tsp instant coffee, 1 tsp cocoa powder
