So I occasionally hear from readers on the other side of the world, and honestly, it rocks my day. The book is sold in most of the commonwealth countries, so I’ve heard from readers as far away as Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. Someone reported seeing it on the shelves in Cairo. (Crazy.) Now that the book is printed in Chinese, I have heard from people in places such as Shanghai, and my fellow classmate from Tawain emailed recently. (In the book, she’s Xi Xing; she’s working in a top restaurant there.)
Even so, it struck me as amazing this morning to read someone blog about it in Malaysia. I can’t think of better inspiration to sit down and write…
