I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be again providing a limited number of private and public cooking classes, in part to help with research for an upcoming book. Anyone can learn to cook, at any age. Just ask Angus, my latest student who is 89-years-old! I think that cooking is best when it involves multiple individuals in a household, and that includes kids and grandparents. To sign up for notices on cooking classes, including last-minute options, send me an email. In some cases, I’ll discount the costs if you’re a particularly good fit for upcoming project, such as a book.
Private Cooking Classes
I offer hands-on lessons of three hours for up to eight people. Not in Seattle? Contact us to see if our Airbnb two-bedroom apartment with a fabulous kitchen is available to rent for a Stay-and-Cook experience.
Custom private lesson cost: $279 (one or two people), $79 additional students (up to six people).
Kick-start to Cooking
This includes a package of two classes and personalized strategies to help you overcome the biggest barriers to cooking, how to set up weekly meal plans and more. I’ll work with you to come up with a plan to incorporate shopping, cooking and healthy eating into your everyday life. This package includes at least one follow-up phone call and emails, plus discounts to ongoing culinary experiences.
Custom “kick start” package: $599 (one or two persons)
Private Group Cooking Experiences
Come bring a group and cook with me in my kitchen. Over 4 hours, we’ll create a five-course meal based on your interest and my expertise. A French bistro dinner? A healthy Northwest-Asian fusion lunch? We’ll work on the menu together and I’ll put together matching wines. After the class, we’ll sit down to a beautiful table to share the meal together. Prices below are for my location; ask for off-site costs or for larger groups. Corporate evens involve team building exercises. Contact us for pricing.
