You wouldn't think it a dubious invention if you were from the West Indies or lived in a Caribbean community in the US. Its a highly practical alternative to filling a baby's bottle with rum&cola and hanging it around your neck so you can bend your head slightly to suck through the nipple. How else could anyone manage to stay hydrated and invigorated and dance all day at Carnival 🙂
