The difference is we have better snacks

Kathleen Flinn · April 1, 2009 · Leave a Comment

On a road trip with my friend Maggie, and between the two of us I think we’ve got the road snacks covered. I brought: Three types of cheese (a gouda style goat, a cow’s milk from Utah called SeaHive, and Morbier), Japanese snack mix, juices. My husband thoughtfully packed a big bag: Salt & Pepper chips, jerky, three types of cookies, sunflower seeds, Cheez its. Maggie brought rice chips, hummus, yogurt. It’s only a couple days but we’ve packed as if we might fall to the same fate as the Donner party.

I want to clarify that the Limoncello was not consumed in the vehicle, because that would be wrong. There’s no way to freeze it in the car.
