On Friday, May 21st, I’ll be moderating a panel of Seattle food writers in a cool event developed by Kim Ricketts Events. I thought it was sold out, but apparently there are still a few seats left. The night includes some great food, readings and discussion by the authors, led by yours truly.
This year’s lineup includes:
• Lorna Yee and Ali Basye, authors of The Newlywed Kitchen: Delicious Meals for Couples Cooking Together
• Tara Austen Weaver author of The Butcher and the Vegetarian: One Woman’s Romp Through a World of Men, Meat and Moral Crisis
• Amy Pennington, author of Urban Pantry: Tips and Recipes for a Thrifty, Sustainable and Seasonal Kitchen
• Langdon Cook, author of The Fat of the Land: Adventures of a 21st Century Forager
The evening takes place at Tom Douglas’ Palace Ballroom with doors open at 6:30 pm. $25 per person includes appetizers and a drink ticket for a cocktail of your choice that evening; all of the authors books will be available at a discount during the event: all will happily sign copies following the conversation. Reservations are required. Get your name on the list at Brown Paper Tickets.
